Role Overview:

As well as running our own channels, we also partner with several third-party sports-betting clients within the agency arm of our business. We look after a varied range of their requirements from social media & content creation to app management and more. As our Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of our partners brand/content strategy to ensure growth and audience engagement in line with strategic targets.

Your role will be a balance of managing a small social media team and getting hands-on with the content delivery across the relevant partner brands.

What will you do on the daily?

  • Apply your social media expertise to our partner's accounts delivering engaging content across a wide range of social media platforms
  • Work closely with the Senior Management team on our partnership strategy, taking ownership and responsibility to deliver it
  • Build strong relationships and work closely with our partners on a daily basis managing all aspects of their requirements
  • Lead and manage a best in class, target driven team that get results for our partners
  • Mentor your team, setting goals and deliverables as per the appraisal process
  • Ensure the adequate cover is in place at all times whilst maximising performance for key events
  • Work with our partners to oversee and produce a wide range of content covering various sports on all social platforms, from text to images and video
  • Ensure your team applies best practices across social media on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and others where required, following all our partners different brand guidelines
  • Identify and create content strands on our partners' social media and app platforms with a clear understanding of what type of content does (and does not) resonate
  • Be organised enough to deliver multiple campaigns and projects at the same time
  • Use analytics to review performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Deliver on partners targets and KPIs

Job requirements

Who’s going to be suited to the role?

As this role sits within our "partnership" team and interacts directly with third-party clients, proven experience in a similar, client-led environment would be super beneficial - as will experience in a sports content/media role.

At this time, we're only looking for applicants from people who have:

  • Proven experience creating sports media/content commercially
  • Some interest/knowledge of sports betting
  • Experience in driving successful social media channel/campaign growth

You'll need to have some good tenure behind you to hit the ground running and lead the team here too. Perhaps you've worked your way up from Social Media Executive to a Social Media Manager level in a sports content role? -- if so, you should 1000% apply to this role!

What skills we're looking for in this Social Media Manager role:

  • A keen interest & knowledge in sports and sports betting
  • Experience managing multiple third-party partners, perhaps as an Account Manager or similar...
  • Solid leadership skills knowing how to get the best out of your team
  • The ability to work closely with Senior Management and other internal teams
  • Experience in driving successful social media channel/campaign growth
  • Exceptional writing and production skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Experience in using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social platforms to promote content
  • Working knowledge of video and photo editing tools (Sketch and/or Photoshop) would be an advantage
